Just out of curiosity, exactly how many computers do you have now? Just asking :) I've been following your Star Trek lifestyle for a while now and you always seem to be getting something new in the tech department. TTFN Catherine
Catherine, it’s not the quantity; it’s the mission. Mac mini (desk), MacBook Air (not the desk), Neo (kitchen), iPad (away), iPhone (pocket).
I also still have a six-year-old Windows tower and two aging laptops sitting in the closet that I update every few months -- it's like watering dying ficuses I can’t quite bring myself to toss.
Is the Neo going to tempt you into "the Ecosystem?"
I'm a "one computer at a time girl," too. I use one, then move to the next, then back to the other, and so on.
I have a feeling you'd pick up macOS in about 10 minutes. Apart from some little differences -- like the "stoplight buttons" being on the left instead of the right -- it's very familiar.
I might be able to pick up the Mac OS but I'd hate being restricted to one mouse button. I've had to use Macs in the past and that drove me nuts. I use the right click A LOT.
LOL, you haven’t checked in a while. Macs have left-click to select and right-click for menus, just like Windows—Apple just calls it “secondary click.” You can set it up however you like in Settings.

 no, I'm a one computer at a time girl...and much too old to learn a new ecosystem.

LOL Sort of like serial monogamy, huh?

Interesting. Is there a scroll button too? I scroll a lot.
