Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland opens the holiday season

Bethesda Urban Partnership (BUP) hosted another great Winter Wonderland event in downtown Bethesda on Saturday. Great vendors, great crowd, fantastic community spirit — somehow BUP keeps outdoing itself with every community event.

I was so excited to see the Holiday Market filling up Cordell Avenue again. Even though the Market is only in its second year, it already feels like a Bethesda tradition.

In the past week, I think I’ve read 10 stories about how markets like this are becoming economic drivers in cities around the world. The fact that Bethesda already has its Holiday Market shows just how forward-thinking BUP is in bringing real economic impact — and lots of fun — to Bethesda.
